Ninety-five percent of B.C. is unceded traditional First Nations territory.  Did you know that?  I didn’t until recently.  This means that nearly all Cannabis stores are on indigenous land.  Ours is on the Treaty 8 First Nations, otherwise known as the Dunne-za people’s land.  There have been some big contributions to the legal Cannabis Industry by several indigenous groups since legalization.   All Nations, 18 Twelve Reserve (United Greeneries), POW WOW or Sugar Cane Cannabis as well as Lot420 are all first nations run companies relying on their innate knowledge of the land.

All Nations Cannabis is run by an Indigenous collective on Stó:lō Traditional Territory in British Columbia.   Sugar Cane Cannabis or POW WOW is in Williams Lake or Secwepemc Territory,  They are officially the first farm gate grow, offering tours of their facility as well as being able to sell their products directly to their customers on-site.   Lot420 is located in  Mansonville, QC, and are growing in living soil.  18Twelve or United Greeneries has its roots in Vancouver Island.  The thing all these producers have in common is their attention to detail, and their natural growing methods are producing some of the best craft cannabis on the market.  Is it just a  coincidence that all these growers are producing THE FIRE?  I think not.  I love the philosophies of all these companies & their growing methods show you why the cannabis they are producing is the best.

I am going to do my best to always showcase as much of these LP’s premium flowers as I can.  Keep your eyes peeled!  We have created a flag on our Menus to identify our Indigenous Growers.  I think the knowledge of this land that has been passed down through generations of families living off of it, can’t be replicated.  It’s simply impossible.  We are so lucky to have 3 of the most notorious indigenous LP’s right here in BC. We can’t wait to experience what else they have in store!
